If you want to view and transfer the files from your Amazon device to your computer, you're going to have to take a completely different approach. Go to the home screen on the Firestick menu. From there, navigate to Apps and search for an app called ES File Explorer. Alternatively, you can type in the app's name into the search bar. If you want to have more control over the device setup process in Windows 10, you first need to access the Devices and Printers window. Here's how to access your device options in Windows 10: Enter devices and printers in the Search box on the taskbar. Then select Devices and Printers to display the window. If you have an external device that contains files you want to view, you will access them via this all-important Windows Explorer application. Step 1 Connect your external device to your computer. Your device will have come with a cable for this purpose (typically USB, but some devices use other cables like FireWire). This page allows you to view and manipulate files stored by any sideloaded apps. See the Using the App File Explorer blog post to learn more about the File explorer and how to use it. The Performance page shows real-time graphs of system diagnostic info like power usage, frame rate, and CPU load. To copy a file from PC to device. There are two ways you can go about this. Here are some things to try if File Explorer won't open.
Check for updates
Select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update . Then select Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your device if required.

Even if you don't see updates that require restarting, doing so ensures that any pending updates are installed.
Optimize Advanced system settings, including virtual memory settings.
On the taskbar, type control panel in the search box. Select Control Panel from the results.
Select System > Advanced system settings.
On the Advanced tab, under Performance, select Settings > Advanced.
Ensure that Adjust for best performance of is set to Programs.
Under Virtual memory,select Change and make sure that Automatically manage paging file sizes for all drives is selected.
Select Apply.
Restart your PC. This resets explorer.exe.
Run Disk Cleanup to free up resources on your device.
Open Device To View Files Files Explorer
On the taskbar, type disk cleanup in the search box. Select Disk Cleanup from the results.
Select the check box by each type of file. (Make sure there's nothing important in your Recycle Bin before emptying it.)
Select OK.
Run the system maintenance troubleshooter
Check for updates
Select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update . Then select Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your device if required.

Run Automatic Repair
Automatic Repair is a tools that attempts to fix registry corruption. To run it:
Select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security .
Select Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart now > Windows 10 Advanced Startup. Starcraft 2 heart of the swarm expansion pack.
On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. Then, on the Advanced Options screen, select Automated Repair.
Enter your name and password.
Automatic Repair now begins. Your computer may restart during this process.
